Meet Mrs. Rachel Allen, an inspiring music educator and band director at Charles Town Middle School in West Virginia. Beyond the classroom, she is active in the music education community, presenting regularly at conferences, directing honor bands, and serving in organization leadership roles.
During the pandemic, she began sharing band content on TikTok, growing a vibrant online community of over 650,000 followers!

Eckroth Music and the Total Band Director Workshop team are sad to share the passing of H. Robert Reynolds last week.

Reynolds was giant of the conducting and music education world, working with countless students throughout his time as a public school and university educator, including over 20 years as Director of Bands at the University of Michigan.

Professor Reynolds served as a clinician for the 2011 Total Band Director Workshop. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Meet the Clinician!

Scott R. Sheehan is a nationally recognized music educator, advocate, and leader committed to advancing music education at the local, state, and national levels. He is Director of Bands and the Music Department Chair at Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School (PA), which has been recognized by the NAMM Foundation as one of the Best Communities for Music Education for fourteen consecutive years.

Mr. Sheehan is the Past President of the National Association for Music Education and an educational clinician for Conn-Selmer and Hal Leonard. We're excited to have him join us for the 2026 Total Band Director Workshop!
