Big congratulations to James on completing the Level 1 Bastien Piano Series! 🎉🎹

After spending two years building a strong foundation in our Notes in Bloom classes, this is James’s first year in private lessons—and he has absolutely taken off! He worked through Level 1 with so much energy and determination, and it shows in his playing every week.

James can now play in the keys of C, G, and F, and is already taking on exciting new challenges like “Für Elise” and duets! 🎶👏 We are so proud of his hard work and can’t wait to hear him perform at our May concert!

Watching students grow from group classes into confident, independent musicians is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. 💛

Our older students truly brought the Olympic spirit this winter with our exciting Note Reading Race! 🏁🎶 The competition was incredibly tight—our top three winners were separated by just milliseconds!

A huge congratulations to our 1st place winner, Felix, who took the gold with an incredible time of 1.23 seconds! 🥇⚡ What an amazing display of speed, focus, and strong note-reading skills!

Moments like these are what we love most—combining fun, friendly competition with real musical growth. Our students are building skills, confidence, and a love for music every step of the way. 💛

A big congratulations to our 2nd place winner, Mario, who flew through the race with an amazing time of 1.24 seconds! ⚡👏 His quick thinking and strong note-reading skills really paid off!

🌸🎶 A Peek Inside Our “Notes in Bloom” Class 🎶🌸

Music class is about so much more than just playing the piano—it’s about building a strong foundation while having fun along the way!

In our Notes in Bloom classes this winter, students have been:
🎵 Learning how to read notes
🎵 Exploring different instrument families
🎵 Practicing how to play together as a group
🎵 Building confidence through games, movement, and hands-on activities

All of these experiences help lay the groundwork for a smooth and successful transition into private lessons when they’re ready. It’s been so fun watching these students grow in both skill and confidence each week!
