Early Childhood Screening is a free service for children ages 3 to 5 years old in Osseo Area Schools.

We currently have screening openings! Call 763-391-8777 to make an appointment or online at: bit.ly/Screening_appt

Why it matters:
Early Childhood Screening identifies needs that may require special attention before a child enters school.

What to expect during the appointment:
- Parent/guardian brings child to school for in-person screening appointment with a district screener.
The child receives:
- A check of vision, hearing, height, weight and developmental progress.
- A review of immunizations records and family information.
- Parents/guardians receive an individual review of their child's progress and needs.

👶 ECFE classes start September 14!

Are you expecting a baby or parenting an infant? 💕 Our baby classes are a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect with other families, and get support during those important early years.

Read below to learn more about our baby classes and find the right one for your family!

Do you have a new baby at home or know someone who does? Tell a new parent or caregiver about Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE).

ECFE starts the week of September 14 and offers programs for families with infants and children up to age 5.

• Take an infant class. Meet early childhood teachers, parent educators, staff and other parents/caregivers with infants to connect, learn and navigate parenthood.

• Schedule a FREE New Baby Welcome Visit. Get personalized parenting support, answers to parenting questions and receive community resources from a licensed parent educator—in your home or out in the community.

• Join ECFE Drop-In Baby Playtime for babies from birth to 24 months.

New screening spots have been added for the week of Sept. 7 at our Arbor View and Willow Lane Early Childhood Centers.

𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 is a fun, friendly check-in designed for children between the ages 3-5.

During your child’s screening, we’ll look at:

We’re excited to offer Baby Yoga this fall! 🧘‍♀️👶

Registration opens August 24 at 9 a.m. and will remain open until the classes are filled.

We are offering two sections designed for postpartum caregivers with babies from birth up to crawling.
