This week’s activity is a Bug Sensory Bin! Scooping, pouring, and sorting materials strengthens fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, while open-ended play encourages creativity and problem-solving, plus it usually mellows this crew out while they concentrate. 🐞🐛🪳🪲

Lots of sensory fun today with cabbage and lettuce—great practice for little hands!

Today I set up a fun sensory activity, we practiced our cutting skills with cabbage and lettuce! We started by tearing the leaves with our hands—lots of crinkly, crunchy fun—then used our scissors to snip, snip, snip! A great day full of learning, laughter, and leafy greens!

🌧️We try not to let the weather keep us indoors! These rain suits make sure the fun keeps happening. Once it started actually sprinkling/raining, they flipped up their hoods and thought that the rain sounds on their suits was SO funny. 😆 *the babies and I were under a huge umbrella on the deck, still playing in the water, but keeping a bit more dry. ☔️
