Our School-Age crew had an absolute blast today during our Color Run! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ What started as a fun run quickly turned into an epic color war filled with laughter, bright colors, and unforgettable memories! 😄

To top it all off, everyone cooled down with a refreshing hose-down—because what’s summer camp without getting a little messy? 💦☀️

🌟 Thursday Staff Spotlight: Meet Ms. Payten! 🌟

This week we're excited to introduce one of the caring faces that helps make New Adventures Early Learning such a special place—Ms. Payten! 💙

Ms. Payten has been part of the New Adventures family since July 2025 and is a teacher in our Discovery Preschool classroom, where she spends her days helping our curious 2½- to 3-year-olds learn, grow, and explore through play.

💕 Favorite thing about working with children:
"The snuggles and hugs I get throughout the day!" ❤️

🎨 Favorite classroom activity:
Art projects! Ms. Payten loves seeing how every child creates something unique and expresses themselves in their own special way.

Learning is an adventure at New Adventures Early Learning! 💙

Our preschoolers have been busy exploring, creating, and discovering through hands-on activities every day. This week they:

🌼 Explored flowers with binoculars like little scientists, using their observation skills and describing what they saw.
🔷 Matched shapes to strengthen early math, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
🔤 Stamped their names using cookie cutters, practicing letter recognition and building early literacy skills.
🌸 Created beautiful flowers using colorful buttons, encouraging creativity while strengthening fine motor skills.
📚 Gathered together to enjoy stories, helping build language, listening, and a lifelong love of reading.

Even though the air quality kept us indoors today, that didn't stop us from having a day full of fun, learning, and smiles! 💙

Our classrooms stayed busy with:

🎨 Creative play
📚 Story time
🤹 Imaginative play
👶 Cozy naps for our littlest friends
😊 Lots of laughter and happy moments

While we always enjoy spending time outside, the health and safety of the children come first. On days when the air quality isn't safe, we bring the fun indoors and make the most of every moment!

This week we're excited to introduce one of the incredible teachers who helps make New Adventures Early Learning such a special place—Ms. Andrea! 💙

Ms. Andrea has been part of the New Adventures family since August 2025 and is our amazing Lead Pre-K Teacher! She is passionate about helping children grow, learn, and prepare for kindergarten through hands-on experiences and encouragement every step of the way.

Watching them learn new things and being their biggest cheerleader as they achieve goals they've been working so hard to reach! 🌟

We are excited to partner with the Portage County Job & Family Services Back to School Health & Wellness Fair by collecting school supplies to help support local children and families as they prepare for the upcoming school year! 💙

We are collecting new school supplies and would love your help filling our donation box. Every item donated will help a child feel prepared, confident, and ready to learn. ✨
