SEWELL SCHOOL
🚨 SPECIAL BREAKFAST VISITOR ALERT! 🚨

Tomorrow we may have a very hungry little mouse visiting our breakfast cart at Sewell School…

He heard it’s National School Breakfast Week and didn’t want to miss out! If you give a mouse a breakfast, he might want to serve it too.
🥞🥛🍎

Make sure to come by the breakfast cart and see who stops by!

Eliana C. from Mr. Falcone’s class and Mrs. DeStefano’s Robotics Club showed off her STEM skills by successfully engineering an ice bridge! Way to go, Eliana! Thank you for sharing!

Mantua Parents, have a great photo of your child using their skills to create something amazing on our snow day? Feel free to send it to Mrs. DeStefano at [email protected]. We love showing off how wonderfully smart our students are! 😍❄️

Well, we made it! The 100th day of school! Many students, teachers, and staff channeled their future selves, sporting gray hair, canes, and, in some cases, curlers!

Mrs. Caltabiano's class from Centre City School shared some of their 100th Day fun!

As we continue to manage the aftereffects of the recent storm, and in the interest of safety for our school community, the Mantua Township School District will operate on a two-hour delayed opening on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. With temperatures remaining below freezing, thawing has been limited despite the help of sunlight. Our students utilize the same buses and bus drivers as the Clearview Regional Middle and High School students prior to picking up our students. Therefore, a delayed opening allows for improved conditions and ensures that all students waiting at bus stops, staff commuting to work, parent drivers dropping off students, and bus drivers benefit from daylight on our first day back.

We are especially grateful to our facilities team, who have worked tirelessly through challenging conditions and frigid temperatures to prepare our campus.

Key Details for the Two-Hour Delay:

- CCP will open at 9:00 AM instead of 7:00 AM tomorrow.

- Bus stops and parent drop-offs will be two hours later than the normal time. Please be patient due to the traffic conditions that are created with the amount of snow on corners, etc.

- Lunch will be served as usual.

- After-school clubs & band at JMT will proceed as scheduled

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Please continue to prioritize safety as we navigate these weather conditions.
