Meet Victoria 🤍 | The Heart Behind Kountry Kidz
If you had asked me as a child what I wanted to do when I grew up, I’m not sure I could have given you a professional title for it, but I always knew I loved being a caretaker of children and those around me. I started nannying when I was just 11 years old, and now have provided childcare and Nannying services for 13 years professionally.
Over the years, childcare has grown from something I simply loved,
into my career, my business, and truly, a huge part of who I am.
I hold a degree in Childcare Management and have earned my Childcare Associates with Level 9 on the Utah Childcare Career Ladder, along with many certifications in early childhood and business. While attending Snow College, I also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for three years, where I was at the top of my class and gained even more experience in caregiving, health, safety, compassion, and caring for others during some of their most vulnerable moments.
But the education and credentials are only one part of my story.
Caregiving is my passion.
I’m a wife to my amazing husband and a mom to my two children, William and Everleigh, and being a parent has shaped the way I care for every child who comes through our doors. I understand the incredible trust families place in childcare providers because I’m a parent too. When you leave your child with us, you’re trusting us with a piece of your heart, and I never forget that.
🌾 Why Kountry Kidz?
I grew up around farming and agriculture, and those roots have stayed with me and shaped who I am. There is something special about growing up in a community where you learn the value of hard work, family, responsibility, helping your neighbors, getting your hands dirty, and appreciating the simple things.
That’s where the name Kountry Kidz came from.
It represents more than a name on a sign. It represents the kind of childhood I had and value, one filled with imagination, exploration, fresh air, learning through experiences, getting messy, helping others, taking care of animals, and feeling connected to your community.
Even as Kountry Kidz has grown, I’ve always wanted to keep those roots close.
I believe children need opportunities to play, explore, create, get messy, ask questions, make mistakes, build confidence, and simply be children. They also deserve an environment that is safe, intentional, educational, nurturing, and built around their individual needs.
That balance of professional childcare with a warm, home-like heart is what I strive to create every day.
After 20 years of caring for children, I can honestly say I still feel incredibly lucky to do what I do. There is nothing quite like watching a child learn something new, overcome a challenge, gain confidence, make a friend, or proudly show you something they created.
Those little moments are why I do this.
Kountry Kidz has grown far beyond what I could have imagined when I first started. It has become my passion, a career, a close community, and something I am incredibly proud to put my name behind.
Thank you to every family who has trusted Kountry Kidz with their children. It is an honor to be a small part of their childhood, and I never take that responsibility lightly. 🤍
