The Utah Taiko Experience is in full swing! Incredible taiko players have come to Manti from around the world for 10 days of rehearsing, drumming, and hiking in Sanpete’s beautiful landscapes.

Get ready for the Summer Thunder Concert this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Manti City Park. We can’t wait to see you there!

SUMMER THUNDER TAIKO CONCERT - JULY 25!
This is a FREE community and cultural celebration for the entire family!
Mark your calendars for an unforgettable night of high-energy music, community wellness, and family fun! We are thrilled to team up with Central Utah Counseling Center, Intermountain Health, and our incredible local sponsors to bring you this community event.

For the Kids: Face painting booth!
For All Ages: Laser tag battles, Food Trucks: Delicious local eats to keep you fueled.

🌱 Wellness Resources: Great mental health and wellness booths to explore.

Live Music: Catch two live band performances plus a special show by the well-known local high school favorites, Encore!

Capoeira: A thrilling Brazilian martial arts dance demonstration by our talented local Manti group!

Pre-Concert Festival: 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Main Taiko Concert Kicks Off: 7:30 PM

And the GRAND FINALY features over 30 powerful Taiko players from all across the globe, and even a few from right here in Sanpete - sharing the thunder of TAIKO in an unforgettable show just for our Sanpete County community!

Last Saturday we had an amazing time up Ephraim Canyon - playing taiko, visiting, and just enjoying nature. We had to cancel the campfire, but we premade s'mores and enjoyed them as the sun went down!

Last Call for the Utah Taiko Experience 2026!

We have been a bit quiet on social media lately, - we've had a ton of events, and this year’s Utah Taiko Experience (UTE) is already nearly full. Right now our advertising is shifting to the local side, so you likely won't see much more about the taiko player side of things.
If you have been on the fence about joining us, this is officially your last chance to secure a spot for 2026.

Join us for a free community gathering on June 13 at 5:00 PM in beautiful Ephraim Canyon.
We'll meet at the Ponderosa trailhead among the pines ;)

Come spend an afternoon & evening surrounded by nature, rhythm, and good company. Enjoy interactive taiko drumming in the forest, s’mores around the fire, and a welcoming community atmosphere :)
Doesn't matter if you've played taiko before or not! Even if you are simply curious, everyone is welcome. Come connect with others in our amazing community, enjoy the outdoors, and experience the energy of drumming in nature!

Free s’mores will provided and you're welcome to bring your own drinks, hot dogs, foil dinners, or favorite campfire treats!
