It’s that time of year! My class is currently in 6th place and since I’ve been at Nile we have never finished out of the top 5. If able help me keep that tradition alive! All money goes to the kiddos in one way or another our Nile Garden Community Club is amazing!

My kiddos have truly immersed themselves in our country, state and symbols unit and I couldn't be prouder. Their inquisitive nature has led to some amazing questions and they've acquired a remarkable understanding of our symbols. Here's a peek at the artwork they created following their assessment - I hope their passion for knowledge never ends! Only 35 more days together 😢

🌸Spring time 🌸 is the best in Kinder! It’s the time when you real get to see them bloom🌷! Monthly we complete a writing assignment about our favorite part of the month and it goes in their memory book. Here are some samples of February’s writing! I love 💕 how different they are! This year’s group has really embraced the word because!
To get us to this point we do A LOT of writing where I try to build their confidence and independence on spelling things phonetically. As well as using their resources.
Writing center is a rotation for us twice a week, it is a choice of something they can do if they finish early and it is always on our homework choice board!
Practice, practice, practice with a lot of guidance and encouragement but not correction (unless it’s structure such as capital, spacing and end marks at this point in the year).
