CELEBRATING THE LIFE AND DREAM OF DR.MARTIN L. KING Jr.
Our preschoolers have been busy for the past week and a half honoring the legacy of Dr.Martin L King. Our 3-4 year olds worked on a project with the assistance of there parents on their dreams & goals for the future. Our 2 year olds worked on a class project putting different shades of handprints on the world, showing unity and its meaning. Our babies engaged in a story/ puppet show (Our world together).
The children also participated in a MLK luncheon and held a balloon release today in honor of Dr.King’s Birthday. Overall, they were able to express dreams of their own. Their learning objective was: To understand & relate to Dr.Kings dreams , his purpose for our future and the pathway that he made for us and for children to come. Today we pause to say, Thank you for the dream Dr. Martin L. King Jr. !!!!!! We honor you! 2026 has hit and we are off to a great start. Our preschoolers are preparing so that they can excel before heading to PreK and kindergarten in the fall. We have 7 of our 3-4 year olds that’s writing their name already. My motto for this year is the Kidds R Us ROLLBACK, it’s promised to get our preschoolers on track using some of the older methods in the area of exercising our fine motor skilks. Our REINDEER’S JOURNEY came to an end on yesterday with our Christmas celebration for our preschoolers on all 3 shifts. What a journey it’s been, the children really enjoyed this theme and memories were made. We would like to thank Sweetly Stirred, Amber Elliott, Brame, Krystiana Jones Cedric Gustoo Jones, Nellie C Photography and all of our parents for making this vision come alive for the children. A REINDEER’S JOURNEY went out into the community and was a blessing to the Creedmoor NC area. Our school aged children from all 3 shifts participated. Our Journey began at Nellie C Photography where we took memorable Christmas photos, we then visited Food Lion, Creedmoor location where our children gave out Reindeer bags to the manager & employees,Our next stop was Adventure Island, Henderson NC where our children enjoyed games, dancing and a little miniature golfing. We ended our journey at Pizza Inn, Henderson NC where the children enjoyed eating and drinking all that they could hold. What a journey it was, we thank God for covering us and getting us to our destination safely. A special thank you to Stash Head, Mr.Buddy and all of our parents for making this event great for our children. To Cedric Gusto Jones for the beautiful Christmas shirts. A Reindeer’s Journey presents: Rudolph’s Brunch here at Kidds R Us. The children enjoyed a Reimfeer brunch today snd what better weather it was to enjoy a hot cup if cocoa. Our menu included: pancakes, waffles, hash browns, cheese & eggs, bacon, sorted cereals, and sorted fruits. We also had orange juice, milk and our speciality, Reindeer themed cocoa bombs by Cashonda Hargrove. We would like to thank her so much for helping us on our Reindeer’s Journey, they were delicious!! SANTA’S WORKSHOP 2025 at Kidds R Us breaks off into a theme of A REINDEER’S JOURNEY. Our journey through 3 weeks of arts & crafts, luncheons, A reindeers breakfast, giving back to our community , our themed Christmas party and a Saturday’s journey for our school aged children began on December 1st and will run through December 16th. We are excited and ready to celebrate the holidays. This week our children choose their own reindeers, named them and did a craft to show their creativity in how their reindeer would possibly look. They enjoyed themselves and they all did a great job. Wishing our strong, ambitious and energetic Nas a very Happy 3rd Birthday on today.
He may be small in size, but I tell you, this little guy can hang with the biggest of any of my school age children. He is full of energy, smart and stay ready!! 😂😂
We enjoyed cupcakes on today and he stayed on 100!! We hope that the remainder of his day was a biessed one and he continue to enjoy this weekend. Wishing my handsome guy Zayn Fountain a very happy 4th birthday on today. Well, well, well!! somebody will be going to school soon. Another year or so to enjoy these special moments with him. looking forward to the remainder of this time to see his growth and then it’s off to kindergarten!!!!
