What a night!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the North Shore Christian School Gala and helped make it such a success. We are incredibly grateful for every family, friend, sponsor, donor, volunteer, and community member who showed up and supported our school.

Your generosity directly supports the continued growth of NSCS and helps us keep Christian education affordable and accessible for families in our community.

As we head into our fifth year, we are so thankful for the people who continue to believe in what we are building and invest in the future of our students and school.

Our Gala is only TWO DAYS AWAY, and we seriously can’t wait to host our community!

We have so many exciting things planned, but we have a feeling “Bubbles for Bling” is going to be a hit this year.

Here’s how it works: Champagne bottles are $100 each and every bottle has a number. Buy one or buy as many as you’d like. When we draw the winning number, one lucky guest will take home a beautiful diamond ring over one carat!

The ring also includes free resizing and all the paperwork, so it’ll be ready for its new owner.

Two more days. We can’t wait to see everyone there and find out who’s going home with the bling!

Our Gala is almost here, and we’d love to invite our community to be part of it.

North Shore Christian School is entering just our fifth school year, and we’re incredibly grateful for the families and community that have helped us grow. As we continue building something special, this event plays a huge role in making it possible.

We're Hiring! Join the North Shore Christian School Team

We're still looking to fill one more position for the 2026–2027 school year!

North Shore Christian School is seeking an Instructional Support Teacher to join our team. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with children, enjoys serving others, and wants to play an important role in helping our classrooms thrive.

As our Instructional Support Teacher, you'll partner with our teachers and administration by:

Assisting with centers and small group instruction

Supporting students throughout the school day

Working alongside both our 3rd/4th grade classroom and our 5th grade classroom, providing support wherever it's needed most

Preparing classroom materials and helping with classroom organization

Assisting teachers and school leadership with administrative tasks as needed

Jumping in wherever an extra set of hands is needed

This is a support-focused position that makes a huge difference for both our students and teachers.

Schedule:
• Tuesday through Friday
• 8:35 AM – 3:15 PM
• We are also open to a 8:35 AM – 1:00 PM schedule for the right candidate if that better fits their availability.

Pay: $20/hour

We're looking for someone who:
• Loves Jesus and enjoys working with children
• Is dependable, organized, and flexible
• Works well as part of a team
• Has a servant's heart and a positive attitude

We are excited to officially welcome Mrs. Alexis Ahl as our new 5th Grade Teacher!

Mrs. Ahl brings five years of elementary teaching experience, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with endorsements in Reading, Writing, and Literacy, and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

Throughout her teaching career, she has built classrooms where students feel safe, valued, and challenged to reach their full potential. She has experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners, collaborating with colleagues, building positive relationships with families, and creating engaging lessons that encourage curiosity and growth.

Teaching in a Christian school has long been a goal of Mrs. Ahl’s. Having attended Christian school herself, she understands the lasting impact of an education rooted in faith. While she has loved serving students in public education, she shared that she has always hoped to teach in a place where faith can be woven naturally into each day. She is excited to partner with families to help students grow in both knowledge and faith.

We are hiring for the 2026–2027 School Year!

North Shore Christian School is growing, and we're looking for two incredible people to join our team.

At NSCS, our teachers and staff are more than educators. They are leaders who help shape the culture, growth, and future of our school community. Open Positions

5th Grade Teacher (Expanding to a 5th/6th Grade Classroom in 2027–2028)

This is an exciting opportunity to launch and grow our upper elementary program. The teacher hired this year will lead our inaugural fifth grade class and transition into a combined fifth and sixth grade classroom the following school year as our school continues to expand.

• Tuesday through Friday
• 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM
• Start: 2026–2027 School Year
• Compensation: DOE

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Washington Teaching Certificate required
• Strong alignment with the mission and Christian values of North Shore Christian School
• Passion for building relationships with students and families
• Creativity, flexibility, and enthusiasm for creating engaging learning experiences

Instructional Support Educator

We're also seeking an Instructional Support Educator to work alongside our classroom teachers and help create a positive, engaging learning environment for our students.

• Tuesday through Friday
• 8:30-3:15pm
• $20/hour

• A heart for children and Christian education
• Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
• Teaching certification is not required
