Happy National School Counselors Week!

Today, we proudly recognize National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Officer Barclay for his continued dedication, professionalism, and commitment to keeping our campus safe and supported each day. We truly appreciate all that you do.

This past week, the Phoenix Academy and DAEP welcomed NFL player, Christopher Johnson and VIP mentor, Sly Stemley. Thank you for speaking to the young men. We also had VIP mentor, Mr. "BIG C" Caldwell speak to our DAEP Middle School students.

Our Phoenix Academy students participated in our first Future Ready Fair.

The goal was to provide real-world experiences and career-building opportunities by engaging our amazing corporate community as a key resource.

Through partnerships like these, our students gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to evaluate their career readiness. It’s through the support of our corporate partners that we can help cultivate essential workplace capabilities and provide meaningful, real-time feedback to our future professionals.

Today, students learned valuable lessons about interview etiquette, job opportunities, and workplace expectations which will prepare them for success beyond the classroom.

Today, we pause to honor and thank all those who have served our country with courage and dedication. Your sacrifice and commitment to protecting our freedoms inspire us every day.

We’re especially proud to recognize the veterans among our own staff, Mrs. Dumond and Mrs. Boyd, our incredible teachers who once served our nation and now continue to serve our students. Your leadership, discipline, and compassion make a lasting difference in and out of the classroom.
