The Gavin Garverick Memorial Scholarship is now official, and it means so much to see this come together. Gavin's memory and the traits he carried will live on for years to come through this. He may be gone from this earth, but his legacy will keep living on through the students who receive this scholarship.

We are so incredibly sad that something like this happened way too soon, but we know this scholarship will reach families who share the same values and passions that Gavin did. That's a piece of him that gets to keep going.

If you're able to give, every contribution helps carry his name forward. Link and details below. 👇

Announcing the Gavin Garverick Memorial Scholarship

The Gavin Garverick Memorial Scholarship was established by Gavin’s family, friends, and classmates to honor his life and ensure that his memory continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people from his community. Created in the spirit of who Gavin was and the relationships he built with those around him, this annual scholarship celebrates the value of hard work, friendship, and finding a path in life that is uniquely your own. Through this scholarship, those who knew and loved Gavin are creating an enduring legacy that will help other young people take their next steps with confidence and opportunity. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating student of North Penn/Mansfield Jr./Sr. High School who plans to pursue a career in the skilled trades. Recipients may attend a trade or technical school, enroll in a junior college program related to the trades, or enter an apprenticeship following high school. Scholarship funds may be used toward tuition or expenses associated with beginning an apprenticeship. Although Gavin’s life was far too short, the impact he had on his family, friends, classmates, and community will endure. Each student who receives this scholarship will carry a piece of Gavin’s legacy forward as they learn a trade, build a career, and create a future of their own. The Gavin Garverick Memorial Scholarship is a lasting tribute to a young man who was deeply loved and will always be remembered.

Contributions to Gavin’s scholarship can be made at give.mansfieldfoundation.org or check made payable to the Mansfield Foundation at 54 S. Main St. (note Gavin Garverick in the memo.)

Ever since we graduated, we’ve been working behind the scenes to create a scholarship in our name, honoring our class and leaving a legacy behind. Not just for us, but for future classes who we hope will follow in our footsteps and do the same.

We’ve entrusted the Mansfield Foundation to create and maintain the scholarship, with our class officers and others serving on the committee to select future scholarship recipients for years to come.

More details are coming soon. If you’d like to make a donation or contribution, message us here or email us at [email protected], or reach out to the Mansfield Foundation directly and let them know why you’re inquiring.

A Legacy That Will Last for Generations

Every graduating class leaves behind memories. The North Penn-Mansfield High School Class of 2026 chose to leave behind something even greater.

Through their generosity and hard work as a class, they came together to establish a permanent scholarship endowment, the North Penn - Mansfield Jr./Sr. High School Class of 2026 Scholarship, that will help future graduates of North Penn-Mansfield High pursue their dreams of higher education for years to come. Long after the tassels have been turned and the diplomas have been framed, their gift will continue opening doors for students they may never meet.

That is the true power of philanthropy.

Too often we think charitable giving is something people do later in life. The Class of 2026 has proven otherwise. They have shown that generosity has no age requirement, only a willingness to invest in the future of others.

By choosing to give back, they have set a remarkable standard for the classes that will follow. Their example reminds us that leadership is measured not only by what we achieve, but by what we leave behind.

Congratulations, North Penn-Mansfield Class of 2026 and thank you for creating a legacy that will continue changing lives for generations!

Here's to a class that didn't just graduate, they inspired a tradition of giving!

North Penn-Mansfield Class of 2026, we did it.

The late nights, the study sessions that felt like they’d never end, the laughs in the hallways, the moments we didn’t know we’d miss until they were gone. It all led here.

Now we go a million different directions, and that’s okay. Wherever you end up, you’ve got what it takes to do something great.

Big shoutout to Peter Kutbay Photography for all of the photos, a North Penn-Mansfield alum who came back to capture it all for us. It means a lot. Scroll through the photos and relive the ceremony.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. Tigers forever.

(All photos are available to students, there will be a parent square announcement with all photos. They are all free, NPM class of 2026 paid out right. All we ask is no screenshots just download the images)

A little late on this one, but Day 3 our last full day in Tennessee was one for the books! 🐯

The morning started at SkyPark with some of the most stunning views of the Smokies. The ski lift ride to the top was absolutely worth it, and the bridge with the glass floor section was a thrill for everyone brave enough to look down. From there, the Class of 2026 had free time to explore downtown Gatlinburg before coming together for our class dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe (Mr. David gave us a little tour of the music hall of fame). We capped the night off at the Island, Tennessees own little boardwalk, which was the perfect way to close out our last full day.

The weather stayed beautiful all trip and the memories made this week will stick with the Class of 2026 for a long time. It has been an incredible senior trip from start to finish. More to come as we wrap things up!

To wrap up Day 2 Dollywood was the highlight of the trip so far and it’s safe to say the entire Class of 2026 agreed. The rides, the views, and the overall experience did not disappoint. With temperatures hitting 86° and 62% humidity, the water rides were absolutely necessary and nobody complained about getting soaked. After a full day at the park, the night wound down with ice cream and card games. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Beautiful weather, great company, and memories being made every step of the way. More to come tomorrow! 🐯

Day 2 of the Class of 2026 Senior Trip is underway! We kicked off the morning with breakfast before heading to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies for a couple of hours. From there, we made our way to Dollywood and spent the rest of the day taking it all in. Another great day from start to finish for the North Penn-Mansfield Class of 2026. The weather stayed beautiful hot and humid, but that’s Tennessee for you. Everyone is having a great time and making memories that will last well beyond senior year.

Stay tuned for photos and more updates! 🐯
