🎶 Love to Sing? 🎶

The Mansfield Festival Chorus is now welcoming singers for the 2026–2027 season!

This unique ensemble brings together Commonwealth University–Mansfield students and members of our surrounding community to create inspiring performances while celebrating a shared love of choral music. Whether you’ve sung in choirs for years or you’re looking to return to music after some time away, we’d love to have you join us.

No matter your age or background, if you enjoy singing and want to make music alongside a welcoming group of students and community members, the Festival Chorus is for you.

Join conductors Patrick Tatman and Peggy Dettwiler for a season of outstanding choral repertoire, meaningful musical experiences, and new friendships.

Some people leave behind memories.

Others leave behind music that continues to shape lives for generations.

Today, we're honored to announce a campaign to establish The Sue Cunningham Music Rehearsal Hall at Commonwealth University–Mansfield.

Once our fundraising goal is reached, the music rehearsal room 136 in the Butler Music Center will be named in Sue's honor—a lasting tribute to a woman whose kindness, artistry, and love for music inspired everyone who knew her.

This effort builds upon the Sue Cunningham Endowed Music Scholarship at Commonwealth University–Mansfield, ensuring that Sue's legacy continues to encourage young musicians for years to come.

The campaign has been jumpstarted with a personal donation of $10,000 to help make this vision a reality, and we invite all to contribute. Every gift—large or small—helps create a space where future generations of students will learn, create, and discover the joy of making music at Mansfield.
