Dan Jones Flipped Classroom Instruction is more than a way of teaching, it is a journey filled with engagement, meaning, application, and ownership.

My journey as a flipped educator began out of frustration. I knew there had to be more than what the traditional classroom was offering. I began researching and found the flipped model of instruction, and it is one of those things that just makes sense. I had to ask myself, 'what is the best use of my face to face time with students?' I knew the answer was NOT lecturing. I wanted to be able to wor

k alongside students to help them to better understand the information we were covering. Then what do the students do at their individual space (HOME)? The students watch a video lecture and take notes. So as you can see, the model of instruction has been flipped. My students are innovators, creators, problem solvers, public speakers, collaborators, and so much more. I have them build a project from the ground up for every unit of study. That's right...EVERY UNIT! This page is dedicated to my adventures in the classroom and how I bring the content to life for my students.

Today was my last day with students for the 2023-2024 school year. It truly was a year that has been incredible in so many ways. I have been blessed by students, parents, staff, and family.

I am excited for what is still to come, and I know that my steps are ordered. Thank you to all who have encouraged, prayed for, and blessed me this year.
