Ridge Kids - Early Childhood Ridge Kids ECP is a non-profit outreach ministry of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. Our Staff:
Our staff is trained and experienced in Early Childhood Education.

We opened our doors in August 2000, because our then Pastor, Randy Weeaks, envisioned a community need for a Christian–based Early Childhood. Cirriculum:
Ridge Kids uses the WEE LEARN curriculum published by Lifeway Christian Resources. Our weekly lesson plans are age-appropriate and include the developmental area of science, math, art, crafts, music, physical education and chapel. We strive to in

still important Christian values that help your child with the journey of life. Our teachers are CPR and First Aid Certified. We participate regularly in conferences and workshops to enrich our skills. We are a state licensed facility. We have been open since 2000! Basic Information:
We accept children 1 year of age by September 1st through 5 years of age. We meet on Tuesday and Thursday or Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Hours of operation is 9:00-2:30.

During chapel this week we learned about Jesus and his friends, the disciples. We also learned that we are called to be disciples - “go and make disciples…” Matthew 28:19….
It started with just Miss Katie telling one friend- who told another friend then they each told a friend…. Until every friend there had been told about Jesus.

When we each go tell one more that one multiplies, they were encouraged to go and share the gospel and make disciples.
