Next week, we're excited to welcome Mike Mulherin ’74 as our next guest in the Where Can a St. Peter's Education Take You? Alumni Speaker Series.

Mike's story is a wonderful reminder that a St. Peter's education can lead to many different paths—and sometimes those paths bring us right back to where we started.

We're still looking for more Spartan alumni to share their stories.

Whether you graduated five years ago or fifty, pursued a traditional career path or created your own, stayed in Mansfield or ventured far from home, we'd love for our students to hear from you!

Our speakers spend approximately 30 minutes with high school students, sharing their experiences and answering questions. You can participate in person or virtually, and we're happy to work around your schedule.

This week, we were thrilled to welcome Allie Watson ’97 back to St. Peter’s as part of our alumni speaker series.

Now President & CEO of the Richland County Foundation, Allie shared with our high school students the path that took her from St. Peter’s through a variety of experiences and ultimately to a career serving and strengthening the community she calls home.

One of the greatest gifts our alumni can give our current students is the opportunity to see the many different places a St. Peter’s education can lead. We are grateful to Allie for sharing her story, answering questions, and investing in the next generation of Spartans. 💙

💙Congratulations to St. Peter’s junior Savanna Francis, who has been recognized as the 2026 Ashland County Women of Achievement Young Woman to Watch!

Savanna is an outstanding student who challenges herself through AP and honors courses while staying deeply involved in the life of St. Peter’s through Student Council, Academic Challenge, cheerleading, Math Club, Key Club, and service to our school and community.

Her accomplishments extend well beyond St. Peter’s. Savanna has pursued opportunities in science and engineering at the state and national levels, while also giving generously of her time through Catholic Charities, the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and the Kroc Center.

We are so proud to see her recognized for what we already know: Savanna is truly a young woman to watch. Congratulations, Savanna!

Next week, we’re excited to welcome Allie Watson ’97, President & CEO of the Richland County Foundation, as the next guest in our Alumni Speaker Series!

Through Allie’s story, we hope our students will learn about leadership, philanthropy, community problem-solving, and the many ways a career can become an opportunity to serve others. From strengthening local nonprofits to supporting downtown revitalization, public art, local businesses, and community programming, Allie’s work demonstrates the impact one person can have by investing their talents in the community they call home.

Most of all, we hope her story helps our students see that making a difference doesn’t always mean going far from home—sometimes it means coming back and helping your own community become stronger. 💙🤍

For many St. Peter’s alumni, Prayer at the Pole may bring back memories of a beloved theology teacher: Charlie Henrich. 💙

More than 30 years ago, Charlie brought this national student prayer tradition to St. Peter’s—and with it, the peace pole that became the gathering place for generations of Spartans.

Today, our students carried that tradition forward. Although the rain moved us inside the church, we gathered in prayer for our students and families, our school and community, and our country—joining students across the nation who were doing the same.

Traditions like this remind us that the influence of a great teacher can extend far beyond the years they spend in the classroom. Charlie’s legacy of faith and unity is still very much a part of St. Peter’s.

St. Peter’s is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive this Tuesday from 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. in the FAC, and we invite our families, alumni, parishioners, and friends to roll up their sleeves and give! Visit: Redcrossblood.org to make an appointment.
Your donation makes an impact in two important ways: every blood donation can help save lives, and participation in our blood drives helps our student organizers earn scholarship funds through the Red Cross.

It’s a simple way to serve others while supporting our Spartans at the same time. 💙

🎭 Calling all St. Peter’s alumni—the stage is yours!

This January, St. Peter’s School is bringing our community together for a Variety Talent Show, and we would love to welcome our alumni back to participate.

Were you part of theater, choir, band, or another performance tradition during your years at St. Peter’s? Or have you discovered a talent since graduation that your classmates might never have known about? Come back to Spartan Square and share it with us.

Sing, play an instrument, act, dance, perform with fellow alumni—or surprise us with something entirely different. Individual and group acts are welcome.
