As the 2025-2026 school year comes to a close, we bid an emotional farewell to an absolutely amazing group of people. You’ve left an unforgettable mark on our program. We couldn’t be more proud of what you’ve accomplished.

Meet Richard Alvarado, a graduate of Lake Ridge High School, Class of 2016!💚🦅

During high school, Richard was an active member of the band, fostering a deep love for music. After graduating, he went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree at Southern Methodist University.

Now a Band Director at Keller High School in Keller ISD, Richard is also a tubist in the Premiere Lone Star Wind Orchestra, where he continues to pursue his passion for music.

He credits Mansfield ISD for teaching him the importance of building and maintaining meaningful relationships, a lesson that has shaped both his personal and professional life. "I am incredibly proud to be a product of Mansfield ISD," Richard shared, and the district is equally proud to celebrate him as an outstanding alumnus, exemplifying excellence in education and leadership.
