A Montessori journey begins with trust, connection, and the freedom to grow. 🌿

For this family, that journey began in our Toddler Program when their son was just two years old. What started with the natural uncertainty of a first experience away from home soon became a joyful journey toward independence, confidence, and discovery.

Today, they describe Wading River Montessori School as “so much more than a school—it’s a community,” where children are known by name, supported as individuals, and encouraged to learn because they want to.

We are deeply grateful to families who trust us to be part of their children’s earliest years and who take the time to share their experiences with our community. 💚

Yesterday, we officially cut the ribbon on the new home of Wading River Montessori School.

What began in 2003 as Hands-On Montessori School has grown into something I could not have built or imagined alone. This beautiful new campus represents years of perseverance, the dedication of an extraordinary team, and the trust and support of so many children, families, friends, and members of our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone—and to all who have encouraged and supported me along the way. A special thank-you to the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce for coordinating the ribbon-cutting ceremony and helping us celebrate this important moment with our community.

I am deeply grateful and so excited for all that lies ahead in this next chapter of learning, growth, and service to children and families.

Have you ever seen a Flow Hive in action? 🐝🍯 Before the school year ended, we had the chance to learn all about this amazing Australian invention! From food-grade frames to a special design that protects the bees while harvesting honey, it’s absolutely brilliant. We loved getting up close to observe these docile, hard-working female bees.
