The DSLA Beginning Band went last week on Thursday, 5/14, to compete at the NRH20 Music Festival. The students put on a fantastic performance and not only earned a 1+ from the judge; but they also earned BEST IN CLASS for all beginning bands that day. Way to go band!

The DSLA Beginning Band students performed in their first Solo Competition on Saturday, May 2nd. All band students prepared individual solos and performed them along with piano accompaniment. The students pictured not only walked away with a first division rating, but also received an exemplary soloist award from the judges!

We’re celebrating the last day of school with hot fudge sundaes for our amazing DSLA students! What a fun and delicious way to wrap up our year.
