We are an authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP) school. We provide the surrounding area families with an alternative education to public school. Our school maintains small class sizes so that we can offer hands on, student-centered, differentiated instruction to inspire all children to become life long learners! Our school day for our Kindergarten through 6th grade stu

dents is from 8:20-3:20 Monday - Friday. Our Preschool and Prekindergarten students join us for half days from either 8:30-11:30 or 12:30-3:30 for two, three, or five days a week.

Have you seen our beautiful new mural in the cafeteria done by our very own, very talented Emily Volz? 🎨

“I always feel humbled when given the chance to 'make my mark' this way, it's a huge amount of trust being put in me. To put it simply, I love art, creating it, talking/teaching about it, and the fact that it can be used to beautify a space and change the way the room feels. With AI all around us, putting artists out of work everyday. Some people would have chosen wallpaper with a computer designed image on it to brighten up the space. I already feel lucky to work with a board that wanted a hand painted mural in the first place, the fact that I am the artist they thought of just makes me feel really grateful”, she said, when asked about the mural project.

What a week, Wolfpack! 🐺 We loved welcoming our K-6 students back onto campus. From classrooms buzzing with learning and friends reconnecting, to laughter echoing across the playground and through the woods, the energy was unmatched. Next week, we will welcome our friends in the ELC. We cannot wait! Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead! 🎒✨

Help us upgrade our outdoor spaces! 🌳

At Discovery School, learning doesn't just happen inside the classroom—our outdoor spaces are vital for fresh air, hands-on activities, group projects, and lunchtime laughs!

We are currently raising funds to bring 4 new picnic tables to campus, giving our students and staff more comfortable places to learn and connect outdoors. Each table costs $800, and we’re looking for individuals, families, and local businesses to help us reach our goal.
