Manufacturing Days brought some great visitors to Gorman-Rupp!

We enjoyed welcoming students from Madison High School and Ontario High School for a behind-the-scenes tour of our facility. It was a pleasure to show them how our teams and operations come together to build the pumps that keep communities and industries moving.

Strong distributor partnerships go beyond providing great products—they’re built by sharing knowledge.

Recently, Chuck Keesee, Gorman-Rupp's District Manager for the territory visited DXP University in Richmond, California, to lead a hands-on training session featuring our glass-faced pump demonstration. The session gave the DXP team a closer look at how our pumps operate and an opportunity to ask questions directly.

It’s one example of how Gorman-Rupp works alongside our distributors to give their teams the knowledge and tools they need to confidently support their customers.

In 2018, C.J. McCann contacted Gorman-Rupp looking for information about a pump he had been using for years. After a little research, we discovered it was a Gorman-Rupp Model 1022H, built on January 10, 1955.

Nearly a decade later, C.J. reached out again—but this time with an update.

His pump is still in operation. After adding a fresh layer of clear coat to preserve its original patina and adding custom brass piping, the pump has become both a reliable piece of equipment and a piece of history.

In C.J.'s own words:

"It's the best working pump I've ever had."

Seeing products continue to perform more than 70 years after they were built is something we're incredibly proud of. Thank you, C.J., for sharing your story and here's to many more years of dependable pumping.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit Gorman-Rupp and GPM at the Minnesota AWWA Conference! Attendees had the opportunity to meet our team, tour the Gorman-Rupp ES Mobile Demo Trailer, see equipment demonstrations and learn more about our control panel solutions.

We appreciated the conversations and the opportunity to connect with water and wastewater professionals from across Minnesota.

Out with the old and in with the new.

In Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Gorman-Rupp Super T Series® pumps provided years of dependable service, moving raw sewage to the city’s treatment plant. Even the toughest equipment eventually wears after years of demanding work.

As part of a complete renovation, the aging pumps and piping were removed and replaced with new piping and three T8A3S-B pumps—renewing this essential wastewater system for the work ahead.

Today, 25 years after the attacks of September 11, 2001, we pause to remember the lives lost, honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders, and recognize the countless families and communities forever changed by that day.

May we continue to carry forward the spirit of unity, compassion and resilience that brought our nation together.
