First week of PreK!

Such a wonderful year in PreK!

We feel so blessed to be apart of their first years of school, and pass them onto kindergarten with a piece of our hearts.❤️

🐨Prek Zoo Trip 2026🦁

On Monday, Prek ended our year with a class zoo trip!

We had such a fun day seeing our favorite animals, petting stingrays, feeding birds and giraffes, and hanging out with our friends at the zoo!

Next stop: Graduation!

Letter Z!🦓🤐0️⃣

Our last letter of the alphabet! We did lots of zoo activities- like building zoos, making shapes with a zoo animal parade, and making zoo animal plates. We also had some beautiful weather and enjoyed it with chalk and bubbles!

Letters X & Y!🩻❌🧶💛

Some of our activities included: playing Yeti in my Spaghetti, X & Y play-dough mats, yummy vs yucky foods, playing xylophones, and yolk letter match.

Exciting day in PreK!

After weeks of watching and waiting, we finally got to release our Butterflies! Our class got to observe their chrysalis’ form and hatch. We also got to see the butterflies feed on oranges, flowers, and grapes!

Letter W!🤪🍉💦

During letter W week, we dressed up wacky for Wacky Wednesday, painted with water to help us learn about evaporation, learned about different types of weather, and had lots of different watermelon themed centers.

Letter V!🎻🏺🍦

For Letter V we did lots of fun things- and had lots of Visitors! During the week we learned about vegetables vs fruits, victory in Jericho, violins, and veterinarians.

Our visitors included a violinist and a veterinarian. Mr. Stern came to our class and taught us all about violins. He explained that each of the strings are named with letters in the alphabet, had us guess songs as he played, and had us move fast and slow to match his tempo. On Friday, Dr. Jodi Akers came to our class to talk to us about her job as a veterinarian. She showed us dogs teeth, X-rays, taught us what to look for in our own pets to know when they need help, and let the students hear a dog’s heart beat. We appreciated both our helpers taking time out of their busy schedules to come in and teach us!

Letter U!🦄☂️🍴

During letter U week, the students played dress up, found worms in an underground sensory bin, reviewed numbers and colors in the game of Uno, made patterns with utensils, and challenged their fine motor skills by coloring upside down!
