Our STEM Exploration Camp for our new 5th and 6th grade learners had an Olympic theme this year! We are very excited to start the 24-25 school year!

Our Learners and Designers had a fantastic time showcasing the amazing opportunities available at our AMIS STEM Academy during the MISD Power of Choice Expo 2023.

To further explore what AMIS STEM Academy has to offer, we will be hosting an in person parent meeting and tour on November 14th from 6:30-7:30 PM. Additionally, we have a virtual meeting scheduled for November 16th at 6 PM via TEAMS.

We look forward to meeting you and discussing how AMIS STEM Academy can support your child's educational journey.

It was an amazing 1st Day in STEM! Some learners designed roller coasters in celebration of National Roller Coaster Day!

5th grade learners working on collaboration and problem solving skills during STEM Electives. Groups had to create a system where they could lead a team member through the creation of a tower. They worked on giving detailed directions to make the process more efficient each time.

AMIS STEM Academy Bridge Camp 2022 was held today for all new STEM Navigators. Learners were able to meet some of the designers and other learners they will be collaborating with this coming year. They also got a glimpse of things to come as they completed tasks requiring collaboration, creativity, communication, and more.

Mrs. Fred and many of her Theatre Tech learners spent Saturday working hard on the set for Junie B Jones. Mrs. González delivered pizza for dinner and brought in some extra help to burn the midnight oil. Checkout their fabulous work this week in The Junior B Jones Jr. The Musical!
