Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!!! ☀️🕶️ We wanted to give a huge shout out to two more amazing community partners - Cold Stone Creamery and Raising Cane's.

Cold Stone was so kind and granted all of our teachers with the best summer treat. They all received free ice cream for an entire year!! We appreciate their generosity and how they wanted to be involved with our school. 🍦🍦

Also, thank you so much to Raising Cane’s off of Broad in Mansfield! They gave every student a free kid’s meal as a ‘happy summer’ gift!! (And a great job to the Fine Arts students for the awesome sign!)

When choosing places to take your families for summer treats or meals, don’t forget these amazing community partners who have loved on Brenda Norwood Elementary School this year!!

We wanted to make sure to say a big Congratulations to our ‘Bee the Light’ students!! Great job to all our Bee the Light students this year. These students are selected by their teachers for exemplifying positive behaviors and being kind to others. Thank you for ‘bee-ing’ the light at Brenda Norwood Elementary School!! Enjoy your summer!! ☀️

We are so very thankful to our teachers and volunteers for helping support the Bash.

Thank you to the families who attended and purchased a taco, raffle ticket, Kona Ice etc…. All these funds are spent on your students and teachers to make it a great year! We are thankful for the vendors who came out AND a shout out to the students at Timberview High School
who painted SO MANY amazing faces!!

Finally a Huge round of applause for the businesses that sponsored the event. Without our sponsors, we wouldn’t be able to have a bash!! Please show these businesses some love in the community- because they gave money for YOUR child to have a special day full of bounce houses, balloon animals, petting zoo and more!! We appreciate Play Street Museum Mansfield Hat Creek Burger Company H-E-B Family D.R.E.A.M. Center Chicken N Pickle - Grand Prairie and Flix Brewhouse, for donating prizes as well!

First up - thank you Andy's Frozen Custard for donating over 800 custard cups for all the students Brenda Norwood Elementary School!! You absolutely rock!!
Parents- let’s show our appreciation for Andy’s and go visit them this summer in Mansfield!!!

Please come join us for our FREE End of School Bash! The Event will be located at the back of Brenda Norwood on Saturday May 18th from 9am-12pm. Food trucks will have options to purchase food so come hungry! Bring your family, invite neighbors. We hope to see you all there to celebrate these amazing students!

🚨 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY 🚨
The PTA needs volunteers to assist with our annual ‘End of School Bash’ this Saturday, May 18th, from 9am-12pm. There are volunteer slots starting at 8am to help set up! Come join and volunteer for just one hour and then spend the other two with your family and friends!

This is a free event of bounce houses, petting zoo, face painting, balloon artists, food trucks and more! Please come out- bring your family and neighbors- and enjoy a party to celebrate the end of school! We need YOU to make this event epic for our kids!
