7th grade GT students C**t Albritton and Gabe Haysmer met the qualifications to take the ACT this year. Unfortunately Gabe had technical issues with his test so we do not know his true scores. C**t earned a composite score of 26! With a perfect score on the reading portion!!

It seems very surreal to say that today was the last time that the Mansfield Middle School faculty and staff would spend time together. So we made the most of it and spent the day doing more laughing than crying. We had a wonderful Mexican lunch, had our last chair races, played some spoons, and had a retirement party for those leaving us.

Congratulations to Lex Mickle, Renea Bryan, Tracy Dedmon, and Treva Edwards who are all retiring! Laura Holland is not retiring, but moving in a new direction. After her spending 26 years teaching at Mansfield, we couldn't leave her out! This crew has worked hard, changed lives, and will always be part of our Tiger family. We wish the very best for all of them!

Tomorrow night is the end of year dance! Elementary Dance will begin at 6:00! MS students dance will begin at 8:00 pm. See you tomorrow night! No theme, just dancing!!!

The annual MMS Volleyball tournament took place today at MMS! The Hitters Not Quitters took the title in three sets. 25-22, 20-25, 25-15. We had a great day and alot of fun! Go Tigers!

We have had a growing number of students who have started a volunteer Bible study on their lunch break once a week. At times there are 50-60 students who choose to participate.
