🌸 Our scholars and staff are BLOOMING at ShadowGlen! Take a look at a week full of learning, celebrations, and Bobcat pride! 🐾🎉

🎟️ Let’s hear it for our amazing staff Golden Ticket Winners for PERFECT attendance all last week! Thank you for showing up and making a difference for our scholars! 👏

📚 Ms. Becerra kept scholars engaged with small-group and bell-to-bell instruction! Ms. Rhodes’ and Ms. Hasan’s classes used pictures to solve math problems, and Ms. Hasan’s kindergarten scholars showed off a fantastic hallway line! Way to go, Bobcats!

🍽️ Our staff enjoyed a Hispanic Heritage potluck hosted by Ms. Raney! Thank you for bringing us together to celebrate with great food and company!

💐 We wrapped up the week celebrating Principal Young’s birthday! Our scholars surprised her with flowers throughout the day, making it extra special! Thank you, Mrs. Moreno, for organizing this thoughtful celebration! We hope you had a wonderful early birthday, Ms. Young! 🎂🎉

🌟 Today, we proudly celebrate our amazing Instructional Coach, Mrs. Harrison, for the dedication, support, and heart she brings to our campus each and every day!

From coordinating testing and creating lessons to helping lead PLCs, supporting teachers, working with students, and stepping in wherever she is needed, Mrs. Harrison truly goes above and beyond for our ShadowGlen family.

She is always working behind the scenes to help our teachers grow, our students succeed, and our campus continue blooming upward. 🌱💐 Her hard work, patience, encouragement, and willingness to help make such a positive difference across our school.

🌟 ShadowGlen Elementary would like to give a special shout-out to our amazing principal, Mrs. Young, for her hard work, dedication, and commitment to our students, staff, and school community!

🌟Ms. Young leads with determination, heart, and a strong commitment to helping our scholars succeed. Whether she is visiting classrooms, supporting teachers and staff, encouraging students, helping solve problems, or simply being present throughout the campus, her dedication does not go unnoticed.

💚💙 The last two weeks at ShadowGlen have been full of learning, growing, and celebrating!

🌟 Our scholars have been busy across campus! Mr. Romero’s class used math tools to multiply, Mrs. Yang’s class worked with area models, Mrs. Correa’s class used Summit K12, and Mr. Navarro’s class practiced our Screen to Scratch strategy. 📚✏️

📖 Ms. Orio’s dual language classes worked on sílabas while also exploring culture and traditions through a fun grape-smashing activity! 🍇 Ms. Hasan’s scholars honed in on ECRs, Ms. Leal’s class used QUICK, and Ms. Gresty’s class dove deeper into reading strategies. Our scientists built ramps, scholars in the library began checking out books, and Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grade scholars stayed busy with hands-on learning and stations. 🔬🎶

👩🏻‍🏫 Our teachers and leaders are growing too through teacher intensives, SLT huddles, small-group instruction, and strong classroom practices. 💪💯

📝 We also wrapped up testing! Huge shout-out to our awesome IC’s staff, and scholars for all their hard work, and to our families for their continued support. 💚

🎉 We celebrated our amazing Teachers and Staff Members of the week, AP Moreno’s and Mr. Price's birthdays 🎂, and received our 1st-place trophy for our convocation video! 🏆

❤️ Your dedication and care help keep our school clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our students and staff. So much of what you do happens behind the scenes, but your impact is seen and felt throughout our entire campus.

We are so grateful for the incredible Educational Assistants who make ShadowGlen Elementary such a special place every day!

❤️Our TA’s and Paras do so much to support our scholars, teachers, classrooms, and campus. From providing encouragement and additional support to helping our scholars feel successful, cared for, and confident, their impact is felt throughout SGE.

Thank you for your patience, dedication, flexibility, and the love you show our scholars every day. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate everything you do to help our scholars grow and thrive.

📣SGE Families! District Benchmark Assessments are this week! 📚

Our 3rd–5th grade students will be completing their District Benchmark Assessments beginning this week. These assessments help us see what our scholars know, celebrate their progress, and identify areas where we can continue supporting their learning and growth. 💙💚

Please help your child come to school on time, well rested, and ready to do their best. A good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast, and a little encouragement can make a big difference!

We are so proud of our Bobcats and know they are ready to show what they know! 🐾💪
