Our 5th Grade Spartans put their detective skills to work during an exciting “Chasing Carmen Sandiego” PBL! Throughout the week, scholars strengthened their map and inference skills while collaborating with classmates, analyzing documents, following clues, and using evidence in their writing.

The week ended with an exciting mission: Could our Spartans catch Carmen before she stole the beloved Manor water tower?!

Learning + teamwork + a little mystery = an unforgettable experience! Way to make learning come alive, 5th Grade!

Our 5th graders wrapped up their PBL by working together to create grade-level agreements that reflect the community they want to build! After a week of learning, reflecting, and collaborating, scholars voted on the agreements they believe will help everyone feel safe, respected, and ready to learn.

We love seeing our scholars take ownership of their choices, their community, and their school culture! Way to Lead the Way, 5th Grade!
