Just a message to inform you of new process for breakfast and lunch.
You will receive a letter explaining the finger print system to scan for your child's meals at school.
Their meals are still free it is only for counts for our daily counts.

We at Blackshere are excited for another great luncheon with our Grandparents and or Special individuals. Just a quick reminder for visitors that are eating hot lunch, there is a $5.00 charge for a lunch. Please send money in with your student or bring it that day to ensure a lunch.

Good Afternoon Parents of Blackshere Students: If there is a change in the way your child is returning home at the end of the day there needs to be a written note sent with your child in the mornings to address this change in their dismissal procedure. I thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

If your student has a daily medication or an emergency medication that needs dropped off at the school, the school nurse will be available at the school tomorrow from 8 am to 1:30 pm.

Blackshere's 21st Century Afterschool program's last day is May 22nd. Please complete the surveys that were sent home earlier this year. Your feedback helps us improve and continue our program. Thank you it has been a great year with your students!

Blackshere Elementary School yearbooks are available for preorder. Orders are due by Sunday, March 1st, 2026. To order online, go to inter-state.com/order and use the Order Code: 0280JM or you can send in $20 cash in an envelope with your child's name and teacher's name on the front.

Tonight is the night! Please join us at the North Marion High School Auditorium for the 1st and 2nd grade Christmas Concert! Start time is 6:00 pm. 1st and 2nd grade performers please arrive between 5:30 and 5:45 pm and please wear Christmas colors like red, green, blue, white, etc. Thank you Mr. Haggerty
