Attention Seniors (& Parents)!!
The new 2020–21 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form is here!
Some states and schools have limited funds, so don’t delay!
You must submit the FAFSA if you want to apply for federal and state financial aid. Many colleges and universities, especially public institutions, also require the FAFSA. You must submit the FAFSA every year that you want aid.
You don’t need to know which school you will be attending to file. List the colleges you’re applying to on the FAFSA when you file. You can always edit your list later by simply logging in to your account. The deadline for the 2019-2020 FAFSA is midnight, Central Time, June 30, 2020. The earlier you file, the more grant money you are likely to receive (up to twice as much). Filing early also helps to ensure you don’t miss FAFSA deadlines for state and college aid, which may differ from the federal deadline.
