Farmers, agricultural professionals and others interested in the latest crop research will have an opportunity to see ongoing work and talk to the scientists behind it during the 2026 Peanut, Cotton, Vegetable and Fruit Field Day at the Clemson University Edisto Research and Education Center in Blackville, South Carolina.

The field day will be held Sept. 10. Registration is from 8 to 9 a.m., followed by concurrent peanut/cotton and vegetable/fruit field tours from 9 a.m. to noon. Pesticide and Certified Crop Adviser credits have been applied for.

Location- SC FFA Center (many call it the FFA Campground) in North Myrtle Beach (Cherry Grove), SC. Our classes will be held in the Guest House living room or on the back porch overlooking Cherry Grove.

September 22- 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM sessions, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM farm tour + dinner

September 24- 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM- CPR/First Aid and Graduation

Cost:
$200 w/lodging
Pictures coming, but the guest house has 8 full beds in dual occupancy rooms.

Interested in learning about backyard poultry flock management?

Join Clemson Cooperative Extension Agent Nicole Correa and Poultry Specialists Dr. Julie Helm and Dr. Michelle Hall for a beginner backyard workshop series. Both sessions will be held at the Clemson Livestock and Poultry Health Office located at 500 Clemson Rd. in Columbia.
