We are excited and proud to announce that Manning Junior High School received a rating of GOOD on the 2025-2026 South Carolina State School Report Card! 🎉

This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our scholars, teachers, and staff throughout last school year. We are incredibly proud of the progress our Monarch family has made! 👏🏽

But we’re not stopping at GOOD! 🚀

This year, we are challenging ourselves to shoot for EXCELLENT! 🎯⭐

📚 OUR 2026-2027 SCHOOL GOALS:
📐 MATH: Increase Meets/Exceeds by 17% to reach 45%
📖 ELA: Increase Meets/Exceeds by 8% to reach 60%
🔬 6th GRADE SCIENCE: Increase Meets/Exceeds by 16% to reach 50%

These goals are ambitious, but so are our Monarchs! 💪🏽

With dedicated teachers, supportive staff, determined scholars, and a school community committed to excellence, we know what we are capable of achieving.

🍕 THEY ACCEPTED THE CHALLENGE… AND DELIVERED! 🍕🏆

Our Administrators and Instructional Coach posed a challenge at the beginning of the week: the homeroom with the highest combined benchmark averages would earn a well-deserved PIZZA PARTY! 🎉

Our scholars and teachers stepped up, worked hard, and showed what happens when we set goals and RISE TO THE CHALLENGE! 📚💪

🦁 HOUSE FOOD DRIVE CHALLENGE! 🥫

It’s time to show your House pride while making a difference in our community! 💛

From October 12–30, each House will collect specific food items. The House that brings in the most items will receive the most House points! 🏆

🔵 HALIA: Mac & Cheese
🟢 CASTOR: Canned Corn, Tomatoes & Mixed Vegetables
🟡 APIS: Canned Beans & Peas
🔴 LOXODONTA: Ramen Noodles

❤️ HELP US SUPPORT UNITED MINISTRIES!

They are also currently in need of:
🥜 Peanut Butter
🍑 Canned Fruit
🌽 Grits
🌾 Flour

If you would like to donate any of these additional items, we will gladly accept them! However, please note that these items will not count toward House points.

Every donation makes a difference, and all food collected will be donated to our local United Ministries to help support families in our community.
