Get ready for a week of fun, flavor, and healthy choices! 🥦🥛🍎 From October 12–16, 2026, we’re celebrating National School Lunch Week with this year’s exciting theme:

🎪 “Cafeteria Circus: Where Healthy Choices Take Center Stage!” 🎪

School lunches do more than fill our students’ plates; they fuel their minds, support their growth, and help them stay ready to learn! 📚💪🏽

This week, we encourage our Monarchs to:

Today, we celebrate World Coaches Day, and we want to take a special moment to recognize and celebrate our incredible Literacy Coach! 🎉📚

Being a coach is about so much more than sharing strategies or providing instructional support. A great coach inspires, encourages, challenges, listens, and believes in others; and that is exactly what you do for our teachers and students each day. Thank you for being a constant source of support as we work to strengthen literacy instruction across Manning Elementary. Your expertise, encouragement, collaboration, and commitment to student achievement make a tremendous difference in our classrooms.

You help our teachers grow in their practice, help us think more deeply about instruction, and remind us that every student deserves a strong foundation in literacy. 📖✨ Your impact may not always be visible in a single moment, but it can be seen in:

Today, on World Teachers’ Day, we want to take a moment to celebrate and recognize the incredible teachers who make Manning Elementary School such a special place to learn and grow. Teaching is so much more than delivering a lesson. You inspire, encourage, challenge, comfort, motivate, and believe in students; even on the days when they may not believe in themselves. You create opportunities, build relationships, and plant seeds that will continue to grow long after our students leave your classrooms.

Every day, you give our students your time, energy, patience, creativity, and heart. Your work matters. Your dedication matters. And most importantly, our students are better because of you.

Today, we hope you know just how much you are appreciated. ❤️

🐠🦈 AN UNFORGETTABLE DAY AT THE AQUARIUM! 🐢🌊
Our Manning Elementary students had an amazing opportunity to explore the wonders of the ocean during their visit to the South Carolina Aquarium in Charleston! 🌊🐟 From getting up close with fascinating sea life to discovering more about the incredible ecosystems that make South Carolina’s waters so special, our Monarchs were able to learn, explore, and make memories beyond the classroom! 🐬🐠🐢 We love seeing our students experience hands-on learning that sparks curiosity and connects classroom learning to the world around them. 📚➡️🌎 A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make this educational experience possible for our students! 💛🖤 Learning is an adventure—and our Monarchs are always ready to explore! 🦁👑
