🌟 A Sweet Week in Montessori!🌟

This week was extra special as we welcomed our newest K3 friends into our Montessori classroom! 💕 We were SO excited to have them join us, and our older students did such a wonderful job making them feel welcome, helping them learn our classroom routines, and showing them the ropes. 🥰

We know that the first few days of school can be just as hard on the parents as they are on the children. Those little hands letting go at drop-off can make it really hard to walk away! ❤️ But seeing these sweet faces settle in, explore, work, and begin to feel comfortable reminds us that they are right where they need to be.

In Montessori, our children learn so much more than academics. They are developing independence, concentration, confidence, coordination, problem-solving skills, grace and courtesy, and a love of learning—all at their own pace. 🌱✨

It has been precious watching our new K3 students begin to discover their classroom, choose their work, and become part of our little Montessori family. We are so happy they are here! đź’—

Clarendon County School District is proud to serve as a host site for the AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program.

Adults ages 55 and older have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by serving as mentors, tutors, and positive role models for students in our schools.

Foster Grandparents currently serve at:
• Manning Early Childhood Center
• Manning Elementary School
• Rose Wilder Elementary School
• Walker-Gamble Elementary School

If you’re looking for a rewarding way to give back to your community while enriching the lives of children, this opportunity may be for you.

✨ Back to School & Back to Montessori! ✨

The classroom is full of busy little hands, curious minds, and so much excitement as we begin a brand-new school year! ❤️📚

One of the things I love most about Montessori is watching children learn through hands-on experiences, independence, and discovery. Each child is encouraged to work at their own pace, make choices, build confidence, and develop a love for learning. 🧩🌱

These first days back are all about settling into our routines, reconnecting with friends, exploring the classroom, and remembering just how special our Montessori community is. 🥰

Here’s to a wonderful school year filled with learning, growing, friendships, and lots of “I can do it myself!” moments! ❤️

Clarendon County School District invites all parents and guardians to join us for an important virtual session on Gavin’s Law and Erin’s Law. This informative presentation, hosted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Education Office, will provide practical strategies to help families recognize online threats, promote digital safety, and better protect children both at school and at home.
