We’re excited to continue shining the spotlight on the amazing people who make up the Bureau Valley team. This week, we’re introducing more new faces, along with a few familiar faces stepping into new roles for the 2026–2027 school year.

The Bureau Valley FFA Officer Team proudly presented the chapter’s 2025–26 Annual Report at last night’s Board of Education meeting, highlighting an incredible year of activities, accomplishments, and growth!

🌾 119 junior high members
🏆 Three Star National Chapter Award recipient

Storm Family, We have a positive update to share. We've been notified that construction on Route 40 at the Hennepin Canal Bridge is now expected to be completed by August 13th. That means we will not need to adjust our bus shuttle times after all, and our regular schedule stays in place.One thing to keep on your radar: the Interstate 80 bridge may remain one-way for the foreseeable future. Please plan for some added delay at the lights in that area, especially during the morning and afternoon runs, and give yourselves a little extra time.One more reminder: the Manlius shuttle will resume back at the old elementary site.If you have any questions, please call our Transportation Department at 815-445-2161.Thank you for your patience and flexibility over the past few days. Storm Family,

We've been notified that construction on Route 40 at the Hennepin Canal Bridge has been extended. Because of this, we've adjusted our bus shuttle times for Sheffield and Buda, and those changes will remain in place until further notice.

Please review your child's new pickup and drop-off times below so your family is ready for the morning and afternoon runs.

If you have any questions, please call our Transportation Department at 815-445-2161.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we work through this together.

We are excited to welcome our students and families back for another incredible year at Bureau Valley CUSD #340! Join us for our Annual Backpack Night on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

This is a wonderful opportunity for your students to:

🎒 Drop off their school supplies so they're all set for Day 1

🏫 Tour the building and explore their classrooms

👋 Meet their amazing teachers and staff

Event Times & Locations:
📍 Walnut & Wyanet Campuses: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

📍 Manlius Campus: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Bring your excitement, your school spirit, and your backpacks! We can’t wait to see all of our Storm students shine this year. See you there! 💙⚡
