Included in this week's newsletter:
🦝Picture Day:
Tuesday, October 6. It is also hat and jersey day. Please send these items to school with your student to change into after they have their picture taken if they want to participate!

🦝PTO Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser:
October 23. Donations support field trips, classroom needs, and student experiences. Students who raise $75+ earn a prize. There will also be prizes for the top fundraiser in each class and the class that raises the most in the school!

🦝Need Winter Gear?
Families can request winter clothing assistance through the school.

🦝PTO Meeting:
October 6, 5:30-6:30 PM (childcare provided).

🦝Early Release:
October 7 at 12:30 PM.

🦝No School:
October 12 and October 15-16.

🦝PTO Restaurant Fundraiser:
Frozen Yogurt Creations on October 13, 12:00-9:00 PM.

🦝Yearbook Photos:
Families are encouraged to submit school event photos for the yearbook.

Are we all getting excited for the Walk-A-Thon??
❤️ We have started collecting donations and are well on the way!
👍 We will be seeing family and/or friends this weekend and plan to ask for their support!

What do we do with the funds raised?

IT'S WALK-A-THON TIME AGAIN!!! SAVE THE DATE!!!

Students brought home their envelopes and brochures Friday so make sure to check backpacks!

What is the Walk-A-Thon?
The Walk-A-Thon is a fun, school day event to promote healthy lifestyles and raise money to support educational opportunities at Roosevelt! This is our ONE BIG FUNDRAISER!

How much am I supposed to raise?
Our SCHOOL GOAL is $12,500.
Individual students are asked to safely raise $75 or whatever amount they can.

Who should we ask?
Family, friends, neighbors, anyone you can think of! There is also the option of online donations!

When do we turn in money?
Turn money in whenever you are done but no later than OCTOBER 21ST. Checks should be made payable to ROOSEVELT PTO.
