Tonight, The Criminal Justice Club was fortunate to have Officer Lieberman from the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department and Officer Anderson from the Fairmont Police Department come speak to the club about their experiences. Officer Lieberman is a former club member, and both officers are graduates of the MNSU Law Enforcement Program.

Both officers answered questions about being a police officer, going to school at MNSU and transitioning to careers in Law Enforcement. Thank you to both officers for being willing to come and speak to us and answer questions!

The Criminal Justice Club recently did our forensics lab. Students learned how to fingerprint another person.

Students also got to experience multiple ways to dust for prints, using magnetic powder on a flat surface, as well as dusting for prints on a glass.

Our next meeting is Monday the 3rd of February, in Morris 210. We will be having alumni to discuss the future after graduation! Open to all. See you there!

The Criminal Justice Club Board met with the Mankato Lions Club. During this meeting, we discussed the Criminal Justice Club, along with the law enforcement, criminal justice, and corrections programs here at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Additionally, we helped clarify several common misconceptions surrounding law enforcement and criminal justice.
What a great opportunity we had, so much fun !

Hello all!

We are excited to announce that our first Criminal Justice Club meeting of the semester will be this coming Monday, August 28th, from 5:00pm-6:00pm in Morris Hall 210! During this meeting we will be going through a brief PowerPoint presentation for anyone that may be new to the club this year. We are also planning on doing an activity during the second half of the meeting! This will be a great opportunity to get to know some of your peers, and to express what you would like to see this year from the club!

Please spread the word about the Criminal Justice Club and invite your friends to our first meeting next week! As a reminder, even though this club is focused on criminal justice, law enforcement, and corrections majors, it is open to all majors! We will have some great events this Fall, including:
A tour of the Federal Women's Prison in Waseca
A K9 Unit Demonstration
Group Social Activities!
We look forward to seeing you all on Monday!
