Pat Sullivan farms in Renville County, growing everything from soybeans to sugarbeets. He has been on the board since 2013, and is currently serving his second term as secretary.

We're at the Edina Public Works facility today with the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association & our industry partners celebrating the City of Edina, MN (Local Government) becoming Minnesota’s first municipal B100 biodiesel fleet & fuel pump – helping reduce fuel costs, support domestic energy sources & add demand for Minnesota soybeans.

This achievement is over two years in the making, thanks to MSR&PC checkoff support, MSGA advocacy & building relationships with Edina officials through our See for Yourself educational program. A true win-win-win for Minnesota farmers, our economy & environment. We look forward to other Minnesota cities following Edina's lead!

In the latest episode of the MN Soybean Spotlight, Director Patrick O'Leary took a break from harvest to highlight his recent visit with a group of soybean buyers from Asia who stopped by his Danvers farm as part of Northern Soy Marketing's annual Crop Tour.

"It's always a great thing to be able to show people directly what we're producing for them and what our product looks like," he said.
