Happy National School Psychology Week!! (Nov8-12) Be sure to check our social media pages throughout the week to join us in celebrating and highlighting the important work of school psychologists and other educators to help all students thrive.

This year's theme is "Let’s Get in GEAR." (Grow, Engage, Advocate, Rise). The theme’s acronym provides a challenge to grow both personally and professionally. It encourages us to engage in best practices and advocate for children’s access to mental health and learning supports. To rise implies resilience and renewal despite the challenges of the past. This has a particular resonance this year as we work to help students, families, and school staff emerge from the challenges of the past year and a half. When we get in gear, we move together. When one gear moves, the gears connected to it move as well. When we move together there is a positive synergy that builds and becomes greater than any single effort.

Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope you all had a great kick-off to the fall semester! Our first SPS meeting for the 2021-2022 school year will be held this Thursday, September 23 at 4:00pm. You are welcome to attend in-person (AH 23/ the PSYCH Dungeon) or over zoom (message us for the zoom link)! Whichever you prefer! We will go over introductions, memberships, and our plan for the semester!

Following the meeting, we will be hosting a little study session/Happy hour!
