The 41st Annual Bethany Sports Classic Golf Tournament was held on Monday, August 3, at the Mankato Golf Club. Forty-four teams made up of over 190 golfers enjoyed a great day on the course in support of Bethany Lutheran College Athletics! The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has announced the recipients of the 2025-26 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards and NABC Honors Court, representing achievement in the classroom by men's college basketball teams and individual players. Bethany men's basketball earned the Team Academic Excellence Award while four Vikings were selected to the Honors Court - Christian Benda, Cole Johnson, Elliot Whitney, and Gavin Gross

Bethany Lutheran College's President, Dr. Gene Pfeifer, will begin a two-year term representing the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) on the NCAA Division III Presidents Advisory Group (PAG). Pfeifer is in his 11th year as Bethany Lutheran's President, having served in that role since July 2015, and is in his second year of a three-year term as the chair of the UMAC Council of Presidents and Chancellors

The 2025-26 Academic All-District men's and women's track & field/cross country teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, were released Tuesday and two Bethany student-athletes were recognized for their combined performances on the track and in the classroom.
