Today marks the Transgender Day of Remembrance, in which we are remembering and mourning the loss of the 41 transgender and non-conforming people killed by violent anti-trans discrimination in 2022.

We partnered with the MNSU library staff to display books and media written and made by the LGBTQ+ community to help spread awareness and knowledge about an important issue in the United States.

Dear MASS - Maverick Alliance of Secular Students Members,

I am proud to announce that I, President Kazi, am currently in the process of coding and programming a video game to promote our organization using Godot version 3.5. The game will be called 'Mav-Secular Alliance RPG'.

The plot will be based on the struggle of secular figures, including that of the Secular Student Alliance, to protect secular liberties from overpowered mythological figures such as Zeus with the help of lesser known Greek mythological figures like Electra forming the secular alliance resistance. I will keep everyone posted on the progress of the game which is currently in alpha phase.

A separate game will be featured which will focus on the college education system based on Minnesota State University Mankato.

Dear MASS - Maverick Alliance of Secular Students Member,

Greetings, my name is Kazi Ahmed Habib, the current President of MASS - Maverick Alliance of Secular Students. The reason behind the change in name is to make the group appear more inclusive.

I am happy to announce that our Secular Student Alliance affiliated group called Maverick Alliance of Secular Students (MASS) has secured all its Executive Board officers, members and faculty advisors required to transition into this semester and has become become an active officially re-recognized student organization at Minnesota State University Mankato.
