Each suite includes classroom and storage space, with heat, electricity, water & sewer, snow removal, mowing & pest control, and facility maintenance included in the lease.

MAPS Staff School Board Spotlight 🌟

We recognize Lexi Loomer for her outstanding work as Community Engagement Specialist for Mankato Area Public Schools.

Since joining MAPS in March 2025, Lexi has strengthened the connection between our schools and the community by building relationships, elevating student and family voices, and sharing the stories that showcase who we are and what we value.
From managing district social media and producing our family newsletter and taxpayer newspaper to supporting events and capturing special moments behind the camera, Lexi brings creativity, connection, and a can-do attitude to everything she does. Her work helps improve engagement, strengthen belonging, and build trust across our district.

The MAPS Ambassador Program gives community members a closer look at the people, leadership and day-to-day work behind Mankato Area Public Schools.

Across five sessions, participants will visit schools, connect with district leaders and staff, and gain a deeper understanding of MAPS.

Only 15 community members will be selected. Applications are open now!

✨️ Our One Stop Shop is back! ✨️

Join us on Tuesday, August 4, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mankato East High School. Families are welcome to stop by anytime during the event. No appointment is needed!
This event is open to ALL Mankato Area Public Schools families, including families enrolling new students and current MAPS families. Whether your student attends school on the east side, west side, or anywhere else in the district, everyone is welcome. Mankato East High School is simply where we're hosting the event!

Stop by for help with:
✔️ Enrolling new students
✔️ Returning family census verification
✔️ Address changes (verification is required)
✔️ Grades 6 to 12 sports registration
✔️ Educational benefits applications
✔️ ECFE and Community Education registration

Our staff will be available throughout the day to answer questions, provide support, and help you get everything ready for the new school year.
We look forward to welcoming families from across the district!
