For the 2026-27 school year, our K-4 Elementary buildings have two opportunities for students to get to know their school, teacher, principal, and other staff prior to the first day of school.
Monday, August 31st from 4pm-7pm: Meet your Teacher
All schools will be open for students and families to come in to take a look at their school, drop their school supplies off in their classrooms, and meet their teacher.
Tuesday, September 1st from 7:45am-11:30am: Transition Day
This morning is dedicated to giving students time to get to know their teacher and classmates, learn about expectations and routines, and experience lunch in the cafeteria. Here are some important things to know about Transition Day:
If your child will need bus transportation, you will need to contact Brandt Bus and let them know -

You are able to drop off and pick your child up if that is your preference.
There is no before or after school supervision on these days. Please plan to drop students off at 7:45am and pick them up at 11:30am.
Wednesday, September 2nd, First Day of School - This is the only full Wednesday of the school year. All other Wednesdays are 1:15pm dismissal.
