The Lincoln Girls Swim Team made 18 trips to the winners’ podium at this weekend’s Pentathlon hosted by Kohler! 💪🔥
🥇 Sophomore: Siri Stachovak dominated the day with an impressive five 1st-place finishes!
🥉 Freshmen: Ava Linzmeier led the freshman class with four 3rd-place finishes.
🥈 Senior: Rayla Giblin earned two 2nd-place finishes along with a 1st-place finish in the breaststroke.
🥉 Junior: Breleigh Koeppler represented the junior class with a 3rd-place finish in the backstroke.
🏅 Additional medal-winning swims came from freshman Lilica McGovert and sophomore Regina Reif-Oroz.

🎒 LHS TRANSITION DAY IS COMING! 🚢

Calling all incoming freshmen and students in grades 10–12 who are new to the Manitowoc Public School District!

Join us for LHS Transition Day on Tuesday, September 1, from 8:00 AM–12:30 PM. This is a great opportunity to get comfortable and ready for your first day at Lincoln!

📍 Students should enter through the main JFK Fieldhouse doors.

Students will:
📚 Meet their teachers
🗺️ Walk through their class schedule
🔐 Receive their locker assignment
🏫 Learn what life is like as a student at LHS
🍕 Enjoy a provided lunch

🏫 LHS OPEN HOUSE | 12:30–3:30 PM

Following Transition Day, we invite the families of our incoming freshmen and students in grades 10–12 who are new to MPSD to join us for our LHS Open House from 12:30–3:30 PM!

Come explore the school, meet staff, and get ready for a great year at Lincoln. We can't wait to welcome our newest Ships and their families! ❤️🤍🚢

📸 PICTURE DAY IS COMING UP! 📸

Just a reminder that Lincoln High School Picture Day is Thursday, August 13, from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM in the JFK Fieldhouse!

Students will:
📷 Get their school picture taken
🪪 Receive their 2026–27 student ID
📄 Pick up important forms
🎉 Check out the Clubs & Activities Fair and find ways to get involved!

🥞 Chartwells will also be handing out FREE breakfast and lunch!

🚨🚨 VERY IMPORTANT FEE ANNOUNCEMENT! 🚨🚨
MPSD IS NOT ACCEPTING STUDENT OR ATHLETIC FEES AT THIS TIME.

❌ NO FEES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT PICTURE DAY.
❌ PLEASE DO NOT BRING PAYMENT FOR STUDENT OR ATHLETIC FEES.

MPSD will send out communication at a later date, closer to the 2nd semester, when student and athletic fees are ready to be processed.

Yeehaw from Texas! 🤠

At the end of June, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students from Manitowoc Lincoln High School traveled to San Antonio, Texas, to compete at the FBLA National Leadership Conference.

In addition to competing against the best students in the country—and earning the distinction of being among the top 2% in the nation in their respective events—students also experienced Texas firsthand. They spent a day at a dude ranch learning to lasso, went trail riding, attended a rodeo, explored the famous River Walk, and visited the world's largest cowboy boots.

Led by Mr. Josh Moreau and Mrs. Melanie Shimek, Lincoln's FBLA chapter is committed to developing leadership, professionalism, and career-ready skills. Qualifying for nationals is an incredible accomplishment, and we are so proud of these students.
