🌿🎨 Science meets art in 6th grade!

Our students took a nature walk to collect qualitative data—descriptions of what they observed—and quantitative data—measurements and counts. They then used their findings to create original pieces of art!

This science and art collaboration brings Learning Made Visible to life as students observe, gather evidence, and share their understanding through creativity. 🐎

Congratulations to our students of the week: Remi, Randall, Eva, and Rose! MSMS is better because of you!🎉👏

Remi & Randall
From the day they started at MSMS, twins Remi and Randall have taken Ownership over their role as a Mustang. They both frequently choose to spend their recess time cleaning up garbage from the activities field. Daily, they embody Empathy toward the natural world, their classmates, and the Manitou staff. Their character is evident in every interaction. Remi and Randall, we’re so proud to run with you in the herd!

Eva
Eva already has all the Habits of Heart and Mind - integrity, empathy, endurance, and ownership. She is kind, patient, focused, communicates effectively, and is a great role model. Eva will advocate for her peers and for her own education.

Rose
Rose brings a beautiful, vibrant energy to our school community just by being exactly who she is. Wonderfully creative, thoughtful, and well-rounded, she approaches life with a unique spark and a genuinely kind heart that warms everyone around her. Rosie treats everyone with equal compassion, effortlessly making people feel valued and seen. She isn't afraid to embrace her authentic self, and that quiet confidence allows her to shine bright and inspire everyone lucky enough to know her.
