We welcomed the newest members of the MSHS family to campus today for Freshman Orientation! 🐎

Our freshmen spent the day getting to know their new school, classmates, and community. As part of the experience, students ventured beyond campus for a walk through Manitou Springs to visit the 8 Springs, while also participating in team-building activities designed to build connections and start new friendships.

It was a great way to kick off their high school journey, and we’re excited to see all the relationships, opportunities, and deep learning that await the Class of 2030!

πŸ’šπŸ’› Welcome to the Mustang Family, Carter! πŸ’›πŸ’š

Manitou Springs High School is excited to welcome Carter as our new Math Teacher!

Originally from just outside of Atlanta, Carter grew up with a love for the outdoors, spending time running and exploring the woods. While studying science in college, a passion for tutoring inspired a career in education. After teaching science in North Georgia for six years, Carter spent a year with a climbing academy, teaching and climbing in South Africa, Spain, TΓΌrkiye, and Italy. πŸŒπŸ§—

Now, Carter is excited to return to the classroom and bring a unique perspective to mathematics, helping students see how math is used to understand and model the world around us. We can't wait for our students to learn from Carter's experiences and enthusiasm.

Please join us in giving Carter a warm Mustang welcome! πŸŽπŸ’šπŸ’›
