Graduates from the 2025-2026 school year may pick up their yearbooks in the High School Office beginning Monday morning after 7:30 AM.

The golfing Raiders had their second match of the season Thursday in a triangular with Tremont and DeeMac in Minier. Although they dropped both matches, Grant Rasmussen led the way for the Raiders rebounding from Wednesday’s match.
Their next match is Monday at N. Fulton.

The Midwest Central band students had a busy and productive band camp this summer. They spent time rehearsing indoors and outdoors, building their musical skills and sharpening their marching as they prepare for upcoming parades. They also had some fun along the way with games and time together as a group.

We were also thankful to have Dee-Mack Band Director Andrew Gordon spend time working with our students during camp. Over the summer, Thad Franklin worked with Dee-Mack students during their band camp, and Andrew Gordon also spent time with Midwest Central students during ours. It was a great opportunity for students in both communities to learn from another director.

We’re excited for parade season and for the community to see what these students have been working on.

Transportation Staff Spotlight: Miss Toni

As we begin a new school year, we'd like to recognize one of the dedicated members of our Transportation Department, Miss Toni.

This year marks 27 years as a school bus driver. For the last 26 years, Toni has driven out-of-district routes, and this year she begins a new chapter driving an in-district route on Bus #10. When asked her favorite thing about driving a school bus, her answer was simple: “The kids."

While Toni may not be one to brag about her accomplishments, we certainly will! Twenty-seven years of service is an incredible milestone and a testament to her dedication, reliability, and commitment to the students and families she serves each day.

Thank you, Miss Toni, for the countless miles, early mornings, and positive influence you've had on generations of Midwest Central students. We are grateful to have you as part of the Raider family.

Please join us in congratulating Miss Toni on 27 years of service and wishing her a wonderful year on Bus #10!
