2019 Absolute Ballet Beginner: Turning out - not in - works best!

Always remember ballet dancing is based on turning out - actually turning an arm outward/backward. Look closely, and you'll see some students swing an arm forward which then makes them stumble the attitude. Reaching an arm back automatically brings the other arm into position. This is why I emphasize REACHING the supporting arm back when at the barre.
