2021 DAYCARE FAMILIES!!!

Tax statements for 2021 are finished, I will mail them out today! If you need your total sooner to get ahead start, let me know and I will send you a quick text will all your info!

I hope to see several of you in my preschool over the next several years! It’s been a wild 7 years, gang!

No way I was going to let my last week of daycare slip past me without one final Taco Tuesday!

And just for giggles, here’s a taco quote from a favorite movie around here… “Today will not be known as Taco Tuesday. It will be known as Freedom Friday! But still on a Tuesday!” 😅 IYKYK

Alrighty everyone, quick update on the timeline of things until closing:

The last day I will officially have kids on my care is Friday, July 30.

Instead of making that day my official closing day, I am going to let my license simply expire when it is up on October 31. This way, if I happen to be available if any of my current babies need me, I’ll still be licensed and can legally care for everyone!

If anyone needs copies of paperwork, let me know ASAP. I’ll make copies to keep with my records and I’ll give you back your original papers.

I must say, we have made some fantastic daycare pizzas over the years, today’s is no exception! Before picture of our masterpiece, and after picture of what’s left — FYI I did NOT eat a single slice, 4 tiny humans devoured this on their own!

Now that all my current families have been notified, I can post here that my daycare will be closing Friday, July 30. 😭😭😭😭😭😭

We’ve had a good 7 years, but it’s time for Miss Amie to venture outside of the house for a while. I have already shed many, many tears over this decision but the timing is right and I have many job opportunities outside of the house that will fit with the school schedule and allow me more time with my own children.

I better still get updates from everyone, whether it be texts, FB messages, Snapchat, IG, or even a good old fashioned letter in the mail! July 30 is going to be a tough day, but I know we will get through it. Thank for trusting me to care for your babies all these years ❤️

I am not accepting any new children at this time. Next potentially available spot would be closer to August (but not guaranteed!).

Oh wow, I didn’t realize how long it’s been since I posted on our daycare page! Well, here’s a recipe for you all today...

I reheated a bowl of noodles for an early lunch today, I should’ve known that I’d end up sharing most of them! 🤷🏼‍♀️ I had tons leftover, though, so instead of boring rice the kids got “longevity noodles” or “long life noodles”! It’s a recipe typically made for the lunar new year, but we liked it so much we’ve made them a few more times since then. Super fast, super easy, and the ingredients are very easy to find anywhere in town. Your foodie children enjoyed them, I now have none left! 😄
