Where are they now? One of our MVA Alumni shares what was next after his chapter with us!

Jacob recently graduated with his Master of Accountancy (MAcc) from K-State.

“I’ve been doing my MAcc since August 2025, and gotten the opportunity to teach one of K-State accounting’s introductory courses, which has been an interesting experience. Then, this December, I’ll be moving to Norwalk, Connecticut and working as a Postgraduate Technical Assistant at the Financial Accounting Standards Board. It’s sort of like a post-doc but for a graduate student, where I’ll be doing research to help establish some of the new accounting standards we use in the United States. It only lasts one year, but I’m doing it so I can work as a consultant afterward.”

We love seeing our Monarchs out in action and catching up with them after graduation is so exciting. We thank Jacob for being part of our MVA family and for sharing what he’s doing now!
